Refund policy
Effective November 1, 2026. FixGuru is a service of CurrencyWiki Technologies LLC. Questions: [email protected].
Most jobs never need a refund, because nothing is charged until you approve the fix. This page covers the cases where money has already moved.
Holds are never charged
A hold that is released, whether because we could not fix the problem, because you released it after a missed deadline, because we declined the job, or because it expired, is never charged. The pending amount drops off your statement on your bank's schedule, usually within a few days. There is nothing to refund because nothing was taken.
When a charged job is refunded
- You reopened the job under the reopen guarantee and we could not fix it the second time: full refund.
- You were charged by auto-approval while the fix was not actually working, and you tell us within the reopen window: we fix it, and if we cannot, full refund.
- We charged the wrong amount: the difference is refunded as soon as we see it.
Refunds go back to the card that was charged, through Stripe, within a day of our decision. Banks then take two to ten days to show it.
What is not refunded
A job that met its definition of fixed and was approved is not refunded because a different problem appeared later, because your host or another provider changed something, or because the site was changed after delivery by you or someone else. Those are new jobs, and the free site check will tell you which one.
Chargebacks
Please ask us before disputing a charge with your bank. Every job keeps your access authorization, the access log, the report and the before-and-after checks, and we answer disputes with that record. Asking us first is faster and usually ends with the same refund without the dispute.
Subscriptions
We do not sell subscriptions at this time. If we add a care plan, it will cancel at the end of the paid period from your dashboard, and this page will say so.
