Access authorization
Effective November 1, 2026. FixGuru is a service of CurrencyWiki Technologies LLC. Questions: [email protected].
Before a hold is placed on your card you confirm one statement. This page shows it word for word, says what we record with it, and why.
The statement
I own this website or am authorized by its owner to grant access to it for this job. I have read the Terms of service and the Guarantee policy. I understand that my card is held now, charged only when I approve the fix or automatically five days after delivery if I do not respond, and never charged if the job is not fixed.
Version 2026-11-01. Earlier versions, if any, stay recorded on the jobs that used them.
What we record
- The statement text and its version.
- The date and time you confirmed it.
- The IP address and browser it was confirmed from.
- The account that confirmed it, which is the account that owns the job.
The record is stored on the job, shown in the report, and kept with the job's financial record.
Why we ask
Working inside someone's hosting account, WordPress admin, Cloudflare or Stripe is only proper when the owner said yes. Hosting companies and payment processors ask for that evidence when access is questioned, and so would you if someone else's work appeared on your site. The record protects you as much as it protects us: it shows exactly what you authorized, for which job, and when.
What it does not do
- It does not give us standing access. Every access item is granted separately on the job page, is temporary, and is removed when the job closes.
- It does not survive the job. A new job means a new confirmation.
- It does not stop you revoking access at any moment from your side.
If you are not the owner
Agencies and freelancers place jobs for their clients all the time. The statement covers that: you confirm the owner has authorized you to grant access. Keep that authorization in writing on your side, and name the owner in the job if you want it on the report.
